'악의 축' 미얀마를 가다_Vol.1 [Visited Myanmar-'The one of axis of evil"_Vol.01]

프놈펜에서 미얀마로가는 비행편은 직항이 없어서 방콕에서 하룻밤 말그대로 방콕하고 12일 아침 7시 50분 비행기로 양곤을 가게됩니다.(본인은 프놈펜에 거주중입니다)
There's no straight flight from Phnom Penh to Yangon, so we should stayed over one night in Bang kok and get a flight to Yangon 7:50 AM 12th of Apr by TG Air.

11일 저녁 9시 30분 방콕 도착.
트랜짓 및 태국여행때 여러본 들러본지라 이제는 방콕이 옆동네마냥 친근해졌습니다.
카오산은 뭐 말할 것도 없죠 :)
We arrived in Bang kok 9:30 pm 11th of Apr.
I've been Bkk for transit and trips few times, so bangkok feels like my city.
Kaosan street? Needless to say. :)


13일에서 15일까지 태국 신년을 기념하는 물축제가 열리는것 때문에 여기저기 물총들이 보입니다.
벌써부터 물을 뿌리는 사람들도 있습니다.
뭐..평소같으면 즐겁게 받아주겠지만, 비행기에서 막내린 피곤과 배고픔에 쩔은 우리들에겐 딱히 좋은 타이밍이 아닙니다.
In Kaosan, there are few water pistols splashing to the people because of Thai new year Songkran- well known as a water festival- from 13th to 15th.
well.....it wasn't pleased us because of tired and hunger. except that we'd like to be splashed as usual.

어짜피 오전 6시까지 수완나폼 공항에 도착해야하기 때문에 람부뜨리에 방을 잡고 간단하게 맥주 한잔 후 잠자리에 들었습니다.
After a check-in at Rambutree hotel we had a drink for a short time, and go to bed for tomorrow boarding pass.

그리고 새벽5시 30분 수완나폼 공항으로 출발.
정치적 불안때문에 도시 분위기가 삼엄할 줄 알았는데 예상외로 평화롭습니다.
아무래도 저번 공항 점거때의 혼란때문에 전반적인 태국 이미지 추락이 커서 그런걸까요
아니면 새해를 맞이하여 시위대도 고향으로 돌아간 걸까요?
태국의 유명한 송크란을 보지못하고 미얀마로 가는게 많이 아쉽습니다.
5:30 AM 12th of Apr on way to Airport, Bang kok looked pretty peaceful despite they are in political conflict.
I wan't sure they are doing in peaceful way because they've learned from previous airport blockade case or because of Thai new year.
Anyway it was sad that we will miss famous Songkran water festival.


하지만,
새로운 곳으로의 여행은 항상 사람을 설레게 합니다.
But,
Journey to new place thrills me always.
It makes me alive.

알려지지 않은 안개속의 미스터리 나라 미얀마,
드디어 양곤 공항 도착!
We finally arrived in Yangon, Myanmar.
Mysterious country like a mirage temple in the fog.

아니! 그런데 생각외로 공항이 너무 잘되어있습니다. +_+
제가 생각한 미얀마 공항은 작고 오래된 공항인데
실제 양곤 공항은 프놈펜 포첸통 공항보다 더 잘되어있네요.
Yangon airport looked good. Modern and new. 
I expected just like a small and old airport.
But this even better than Phnom Penh int airport.

네 그렇습니다.
오래된 군부 독재 및 미국의 악의 축 지목, 아웅산 수지 여사 가택 연금 사건 이후
저는 미얀마를 가난하고 고통받고 위험한 나라 정도로만 생각하고 있었습니다.
남자친구는 그런 저에게 미디어 프로파간다(정치 선전 및 선동)에 너무 익숙해져있어서 실제 모습을 못보고있다고 누누히 말하곤 했는데...
쳇, 남자친구가 의기양양해 합니다. ^^;
I imagined Myanmar as a suffered, poor, dangrous country because of long-term military dictatorship, spotted as axis of evil, Aung san suu kyi well known as heroine of Myanmar who has been under house arrest.
My b.f has told me I don't see real truth because of media propaganda esp U.S side.
Maybe...it could be true.
Myanmar doesn't look like a "EVIL" country.
It looks like a gentle, calm, peacful, and pure people's country even though they are in military dictatorship.

공항에 도착했는데 사람들 시선이 느껴집니다.
시선들이 주---욱 저희를 따라다니네요.
외국인 관광객이 적은 탓인지 어떤 사람은 저희가 지나갈때 사진을 찍습니다. ㅎㅎ
Not many foreign tourist are here, so all local people eyes were turned on us.
Even one local guy took our photo as his souvenir! :p 

공항내 여행사 직원에게 택시를 부탁하고 양곤 지도를 받았습니다.
여행사 아가씨, 저보고 어느나라 사람이냐고 물어보더니 한국사람인걸 알고나서
한국말로 된 미얀마 지도를 떡 하니 꺼내놓습니다. +_+
미얀마 주재 한국대사관에서 만든 지돈데 코트라에 대사관까지 있는걸 보니 한국 기업 진출이 활발한듯 하네요.

택시 탑승.
으으...그런데...택시가.....너무 오래되었습니다.
20년도 더 된듯한 한국에선 고철로나 쓸듯한 택시를 타랍니다.
그러나 이 택시가 우리 여행중 가장 깨끗한 택시중 하나였다는걸 우리는 나중에서야 깨닫게 됩니다.
We took a taxi to the hotel.
And...that taxi looked more than 20 years old at least!
It suppose to be called 'pieces of metal' instead of 'car'!
But we realized after few experience it was one of our best car.

프놈펜보다 더 발전되고 깨끗한 양곤.
하지만 렉서스가 우리나라 소나타급으로 돌아다니는 프놈펜과는 달리 미얀마에서는 20년도 더된 차들만이 소수로 도로를 달리고 있었습니다.
미국의 미얀마 경제 제재 정책 때문에 수입/수출이 거의 불가능해서 고철 수준의 차가 2-3천만원을 호가하기 때문이라는건 나중에서야 알았습니다.
Yangon is more developed than Phnom Penh in every way except vehicle.
In Phnom street is rided by expensive Lexus, Benz, BMW sometimes Porsche. (mostly Lexus)
Yangon has better road condition, people looks better but we only saw old and small cars, and volume of traffice couldn't compare at all.
It has happened since U.S pointed to Myanmar as a 'one of evil of Axis[It sometimes changes as N.Korea, Iran, Siria, Cuba and so on..] and they did financial sanction.

[스웨다곤 관람 후 탄 택시. 운전석 의자가 없어서 간이 의자에서 운전을 한다. 계기판의 전선역시 다 얼기설기 나와있어서 운전이 가능한게 신기할정도 :) Our taxi after Swedagon. You can see driver's new fashonable seat and other electric lines as mix match =D ]
